Rondo Terms of Service

Last updated: October 21, 2026  |  Effective: October 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Foundry One Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Foundry One Labs", "we", "us" or "our"), and the organization that signs up for or uses Rondo ("Customer", "you" or "your"). They govern your use of Rondo, including the application at app.rondohq.com, the website at rondohq.com, any Rondo application we make available, and related services (together, the "Service").

You accept these Terms when you complete checkout (including by ticking a box that refers to them), create or join a workspace, or use the Service. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organization. If you do not have that authority, or you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About these Terms

1.1 Who we are. The Service is provided by Foundry One Labs, Inc., 1401 21st St #15341, Sacramento, CA 95811, United States. Contact: nelson@foundryonelabs.com.

1.2 Business use only. Rondo is built for organizations and their people at work. It is not offered for personal, family or household use.

1.3 Related documents. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Data Processing Addendum ("DPA") and Master Subscription Agreement ("MSA") are available on request: email nelson@foundryonelabs.com or sales@rondohq.com.

1.4 Enterprise and signed agreements. Plans of 250 seats or more are sold as Enterprise subscriptions through a signed order form. If you have signed an order form, an MSA or another written agreement with us for Rondo, that order form and agreement prevail over these Terms wherever they conflict.

2. Eligibility and accounts

2.1 Age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use it.

2.2 Accurate information. You must give accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.

2.3 Signing in. You can sign in with Google or Microsoft single sign-on, or with an email address and password confirmed by device verification. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. Tell us promptly at nelson@foundryonelabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

2.4 Your users. You are responsible for the people you allow to use your workspace, including members and guests, and for their compliance with these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Workspaces, administrators and seats

3.1 The workspace belongs to the Customer. Rondo is organized into workspaces. The organization that owns a workspace controls it. Its administrators can add and remove members, connect and disconnect integrations, set retention periods, and access, export, change and delete content in the workspace, including messages, files, recordings and transcripts. If you join a workspace through your employer, assume your employer controls that content.

3.2 Seats. Each paid seat lets one named person be an active member of the workspace. You may not have more active members than paid seats. Once every paid seat is in use, Rondo does not let new members join until you add seats or remove members. If you reduce your seats below the number of active members, remove members to match. A seat may not be shared by several people, but you may move a seat from someone who leaves to someone new.

3.3 Administrators. The person who completes checkout becomes the first owner of the new workspace and can make other people administrators. You are responsible for choosing your administrators and for what they do in your workspace.

4. Free trial, automatic renewal, billing and cancellation

Automatic renewal terms. Please read this section.

  • Price. $18 per seat per month billed annually ($216 per seat per year), or $21.60 per seat per month billed monthly, plus any applicable tax. Checkout shows your total before you pay.
  • Free trial. 14 days, and a payment card is required at checkout. When the trial ends, your paid subscription starts and your card is charged automatically for the seats and billing cadence you chose, unless you cancel before the trial ends. We email you a reminder about 3 days before the trial ends. If you change your seats or your billing cadence during the trial, the trial ends at that moment and your card is charged for the first term straight away.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each term (every month on monthly billing, every year on annual billing), and we charge your card for the next term at the then-current price, until you cancel.
  • How to cancel. Online, at any time, in Rondo under Settings, then Seats and billing, which opens our billing portal run by Stripe. You can also email sales@rondohq.com or nelson@foundryonelabs.com and we will cancel for you. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
  • Price changes. We email you before a new price applies, and you can cancel before it does (section 4.10).
  • When cancelling takes effect. At the end of your current paid period (or at the end of the trial). You keep access until then. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it.

4.1 Plans and prices. The self-serve plan is available for 3 to 249 seats:

Billing cadence Price per seat When you are charged
Annual$18 per month$216 per seat, once a year, in advance
Monthly$21.60 per month$21.60 per seat, every month, in advance

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. If you use a promotion code at checkout, the discount and how long it lasts are shown at checkout; after it ends, the standard price applies. For 250 seats or more, contact sales@rondohq.com for an Enterprise subscription (section 1.4).

4.2 Free trial. Your free trial lasts 14 days from checkout. A payment card is required to start it. At the end of the trial your subscription converts to a paid subscription automatically and we charge your card for the first term (one month or one year, as you chose), for the number of seats in your subscription at that time, unless you cancel before the trial ends. We send a reminder email about 3 days before the trial ends. If you add or remove seats, or switch between monthly and annual billing, during the trial, the trial ends when you make the change and we charge your card for the first term at that time. To keep the full trial, make those changes after it ends. We may limit free trials to one per organization.

4.3 Automatic renewal. Your subscription continues and renews automatically at the end of each term for another term of the same length until you cancel it. By starting a subscription, you authorize us and Stripe, our payment processor, to charge your payment method on file at the start of each term for the seats in your subscription and any applicable tax.

4.4 How to cancel. You can cancel online at any time in Rondo under Settings, then Seats and billing (the Stripe customer portal). You can also email sales@rondohq.com or nelson@foundryonelabs.com from the email address on your account, and we will cancel for you. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, or at the end of the trial if you cancel during it. You keep access until then, and you will not be charged again. Section 13.5 explains what happens to your data afterwards.

4.5 Changing seats. You can add or remove seats in the billing portal. A self-serve subscription must have between 3 and 249 seats. When you add or remove seats during a term, Stripe calculates a prorated charge or credit for the rest of that term, and it appears on your invoice. Credits are applied to future invoices. Changing seats during the free trial ends the trial (section 4.2).

4.6 Switching between monthly and annual billing. You can switch between monthly and annual billing in the billing portal. Stripe applies any prorated charge or credit for the change, as shown in the portal. Switching during the free trial ends the trial (section 4.2).

4.7 Payment processing. Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to its processing of your payment details. You can update your payment method and see your invoices in the billing portal.

4.8 Taxes. Prices exclude taxes. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, GST or similar taxes, we add them to your invoice, and you are responsible for paying them and any other taxes that apply to your purchase. If you are exempt, send us a valid exemption certificate.

4.9 Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you so that you can update your payment method. If the amount stays unpaid, we may limit or suspend the Service until it is paid. If your subscription ends because of non-payment, section 13.5 applies to your data.

4.10 Price changes. We may change our prices. A new price applies to you only from a renewal that starts after we have told you about it. We will email you between 7 and 30 days before the new price first applies to you, with the new price, the date it applies and how to cancel. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before then.

4.11 Refunds. Fees are non-refundable. We do not give refunds or credits for partial periods, unused seats or unused time, including when you cancel, except where the law requires it or as stated in sections 13.3 and 16.2. The prorated adjustments for seat changes and billing switches in sections 4.5 and 4.6 are not refunds.

4.12 Questions about a charge. If you think a charge is wrong, email nelson@foundryonelabs.com and we will look into it.

5. Your content

5.1 You own your content. Everything you and your users put into the Service, and the output the Service generates from it for you, is "Customer Content". As between you and us, you own it.

5.2 Licence to us. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, display, process and adapt Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as you instruct. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies held in backups until they are overwritten in the normal cycle.

5.3 Your responsibility. You are responsible for Customer Content, including having the rights to put it into the Service, its legality, and giving the notices and getting the consents required to process it, including for recording and transcription (section 6).

5.4 Personal data. For personal data in Customer Content, you are the controller (or business) and we are your processor (or service provider). We will:

If you need a signed data processing agreement, for example under the EU or UK GDPR, email nelson@foundryonelabs.com for our DPA. Once it is in place, it forms part of these Terms and prevails over them on the processing of personal data.

5.5 Service data. We may collect technical and usage data about how the Service is used, and use it to run, secure and improve the Service. We may use aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you or any person for any lawful purpose.

6. Recording, transcription and live captions

6.1 You control recording. Whether a session is recorded is set by its host, within the settings your workspace allows. Meetings are not recorded unless recording is turned on. Some session types, such as live stages and team huddles, are set to record by default, and hosts and administrators can change that setting. A recording captures the audio and video of the session. Rondo can transcribe recordings, show live captions during a session, and generate recaps, action items and follow-ups from transcripts (section 7).

6.2 Recording indicator. Rondo is designed to show participants when a session is being recorded. An indicator may not appear on every device, app version or way of joining, and it never replaces the notice and consent you are responsible for.

6.3 Consent is your responsibility. Recording and transcribing conversations is regulated. Some US states, including California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington, require the consent of every party to a conversation, and laws outside the US have their own rules. Before you record or transcribe, you must tell every participant and obtain every consent the law requires, including from guests and people outside your organization, and you must comply with all wiretapping, eavesdropping, privacy and employment laws that apply to you. If anyone on a call is in an all-party consent jurisdiction, get everyone's consent. We do not and cannot check whether you have done so.

6.4 What Rondo does not do. Rondo does not create or store voiceprints or face geometry and does not use voice or facial recognition to identify anyone. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy explains how transcripts show who spoke.

6.5 Control and deletion. Recordings, transcripts and captions are Customer Content. Workspace administrators control who can see them and can delete them at any time. Rondo does not currently delete them automatically on a schedule.

6.6 Participants. If you were recorded in a Rondo session and want a recording removed, ask the organization that hosted it, because it controls the recording. If you cannot reach it, email nelson@foundryonelabs.com and we will pass on your request.

7. AI features

7.1 What Rondo's AI does. Rondo uses third-party AI providers under our own contracts. Deepgram turns meeting audio into transcripts and live captions. OpenAI generates recaps, summaries, action items, follow-ups, catch-up summaries and assistant features from transcripts and related workspace content. Some features remember facts that users state to them, so later answers are more useful. That memory is Customer Content.

7.2 AI output can be wrong. AI output is generated by statistical models. It can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading, and the same request can give different answers. Review AI output before you rely on it. Do not use it as the only basis for a legal, financial, medical, employment or other significant decision about a person. AI output is not professional advice.

7.3 Who owns AI output. As between you and us, output generated for you is Customer Content and belongs to you. Output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar output. We do not promise that output is free of third-party rights.

7.4 No training on your content. We do not use Customer Content, or data from Google or Microsoft connectors, to train or improve generalized AI models. OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train its models, and may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse before deleting it. Deepgram, which transcribes audio for us, may use audio it processes for us to improve its own speech recognition models, as its terms allow.

7.5 Your own AI assistant. You can connect your own AI assistant, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, to Rondo through Rondo's MCP server. When you do, that assistant's provider is your provider, not ours: the data Rondo returns to your assistant is handled under your account and your agreement with that provider, and we are not responsible for it. A connection acts as the one person who authorized it, sees only what that person can see in Rondo, and is read-only unless that person grants write access. Actions taken through a connection with write access, such as posting a message or booking a meeting, are taken in that person's name. If you want human approval before an AI assistant changes anything, set that up in your AI assistant.

7.6 Your inputs. Do not put content into AI features that you are not allowed to share with the providers named in our Privacy Policy.

8. Integrations

8.1 Connectors. A user can choose to connect Google or Microsoft accounts to Rondo, for example to sync calendars, open selected files, or send email that the user has approved. When a user connects an account, you authorize us to access it with the permissions that user grants, only to provide the features they turned on. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. A user can disconnect at any time.

8.2 Third-party services. Google, Microsoft, AI assistant providers and other third-party services are run by their providers, not by us, and your use of them is governed by your agreements with them. We are not responsible for their availability, security or changes, including changes that stop an integration working.

8.3 Google and Microsoft data. Our use of data received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not use Rondo to break the law, record people unlawfully, harass anyone, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, attack or overload our systems or anyone else's, put prohibited data into Rondo, or resell the Service. We may suspend or end access under section 13 if you do.

10. Our intellectual property

10.1 Ownership. We and our licensors own the Service, including its software, design, documentation, trademarks and improvements. These Terms give you no rights in them except the limited right to use the Service described here.

10.2 Your right to use the Service. While your subscription or trial is active, you and your users may use the Service for your internal business purposes under these Terms.

10.3 Restrictions. You may not: copy, modify or create derivative works of the Service; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law does not allow this restriction; resell, sublicense, rent or lease it, or operate it as a service bureau; use it to build a competing product; or publish benchmark results without our written consent.

10.4 Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment.

11. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will protect it with at least reasonable care, use it only for the purposes of these Terms, and share it only with its personnel and advisers who need to know it and are bound to keep it confidential. This does not apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was already known to it, is independently developed, or is lawfully received from someone else. A party may disclose information when the law requires it, after giving notice where the law allows. Customer Content is protected under section 5 as well as this section.

12. Changes to the Service, support and previews

12.1 Changes. We improve Rondo continuously and may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces the core functionality of your paid plan, we will tell you in advance where practical, and you may cancel under section 4.4.

12.2 Support. We provide support by email at nelson@foundryonelabs.com. Self-serve plans do not include a service level agreement or uptime commitment. Service levels are available only under a signed Enterprise order form.

12.3 Previews. Features labelled beta, preview or early access are provided as is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and are not covered by any commitment in a signed agreement unless it says so.

13. Term, suspension and termination

13.1 Term. These Terms apply from when you accept them until your subscription or trial has ended and you stop using the Service.

13.2 Cancelling. You may cancel your subscription at any time under section 4.4.

13.3 Our termination. We may end your subscription:

13.4 Suspension. We may suspend or limit access to all or part of the Service if: fees are unpaid (section 4.9); you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; your use threatens the security, integrity or availability of the Service or of others; or the law requires it. We will tell you why and, where practical, give you a chance to fix the problem first. Where there is an urgent threat, we may act first and tell you promptly afterwards. We will restore access once the reason for the suspension is resolved.

13.5 Your data after your subscription ends. When your subscription ends for any reason, we keep your workspace data for 30 days. During that time a workspace administrator can ask us to export it or to delete it sooner by emailing nelson@foundryonelabs.com. After that period we delete Customer Content from our active systems. Copies in backups are removed as the backups roll off on their normal cycle. We keep billing records as long as tax and accounting laws require, and we may keep other data where the law requires us to.

13.6 Survival. Sections 4.11, 5, 6.3, 7.2, 7.3, 10, 11, 13.5, 13.6 and 14 to 19, and any obligation to pay fees already due, survive the end of these Terms.

14. Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that defects will be corrected, that transcripts or captions will be accurate or complete, or that AI output will be accurate, reliable or suitable for any purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

15.1 NEITHER PARTY IS LIABLE TO THE OTHER FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, EVEN IF IT WAS TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

15.2 EACH PARTY'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, AND (B) US$100.

15.3 Exceptions. Sections 15.1 and 15.2 do not limit: your obligation to pay fees; either party's obligations under section 16; your breach of section 9 (Acceptable use) or section 10.3 (Restrictions); or liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15.4 How the limits apply. These limits apply to all claims together, whatever the legal theory, and reflect an agreed allocation of risk that is part of the basis of the bargain between us. They apply only to the extent the law allows (section 19.12).

16. Indemnities

16.1 From you. You will defend us against any third-party claim arising from: Customer Content; your or your users' use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law; your failure to give notices or obtain consents, including for recording and transcription under section 6; or services you connect to Rondo. You will pay the damages, costs and reasonable legal fees finally awarded or agreed in settlement.

16.2 From us. We will defend you against any third-party claim that the Service, used as these Terms allow, infringes that party's US patent, copyright or trademark, and pay the damages finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This does not apply to claims arising from Customer Content, AI output, anything we did not provide, combinations with anything we did not provide, changes you made, or your breach of these Terms. If the Service is, or we think it may be, subject to such a claim, we may get you the right to keep using it, change it so it does not infringe, or end your subscription and refund prepaid fees for the rest of your term.

16.3 Process. The party seeking protection must tell the other promptly, let it control the defence and settlement, and cooperate reasonably. No settlement may impose liability or an admission on the protected party without its consent.

17. Governing law and disputes

17.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

17.2 Courts. The state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, and each party consents to their personal jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration.

17.3 Urgent relief. Either party may seek an injunction or other urgent relief in any court with jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is material, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, with a link to the updated Terms and the date they take effect, before it takes effect. We may also tell you in Rondo. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively, and they do not apply to a dispute that arose before the change took effect. Changes needed to address an urgent legal or security risk may take effect sooner, and we will tell you about them as soon as we can. Price changes follow section 4.10.

19. General

19.1 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, except to a successor to all or substantially all of your business. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

19.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and any DPA, MSA or order form we have signed with you are the entire agreement between us about the Service, and replace any earlier discussions about it. Terms in your purchase orders or other documents do not apply.

19.3 Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.

19.4 Events beyond control. Neither party is liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for payment obligations.

19.5 Export and sanctions. You confirm that you are not located in, organized in, or ordinarily resident in a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions, and that you and your users are not on a US government restricted party list. You will not use the Service in breach of export control or sanctions laws.

19.6 US government users. The Service is commercial computer software and commercial computer software documentation. Use by the US government is subject to these Terms.

19.7 Publicity. We will not use your name or logo publicly without your prior written consent.

19.8 Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account or your billing contact, and they take effect when sent. Send notices to us at nelson@foundryonelabs.com and to Foundry One Labs, Inc., 1401 21st St #15341, Sacramento, CA 95811, United States.

19.9 Electronic communications. You agree to receive notices, invoices and other communications from us electronically, and that they satisfy any legal requirement for written communications.

19.10 Relationship. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, joint venture or employment relationship, and there are no third-party beneficiaries.

19.11 Interpretation. Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation".

19.12 Rights the law protects. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, that the law does not allow to be limited or waived by contract. If a part of these Terms is not enforceable against you for that reason, it applies to the fullest extent the law allows.
